wakens my ear to listen like one being

The Book of Proverbs

If you wonder what does the bible say about daily living, attitudes, how we should live, speak, and treat one another.  This book can be one that is studied daily.  I challenge you to try and memorize, study and meditate on a proverb once a week. Here I will post a proverb and my insight and thoughts on it, yours may be something more.  Ask God to reveal to you what each proverb means to you.  I pray that as you study and meditate on Proverbs it will be engraved in your heart and give you wisdom for living!

Proverbs 27:3
"Stone is heavy and sand a burden, but provocation by a fool is heavier than both."

Insight:
Often times we do know when we are at opposition with someone who lacks judgment or sensibility, this person may however know how to say the right words or action towards you to get a reaction from you.  We allow ourselves to be easily provoked by a fool! This proverbs says that when we allow ourselves to go there to be easily provoked we have allowed ourselves to be pushed down even heavier than daily burdens.
