I walked inside Club Liquid with me and my cousin laughing and me half not wanting to be there at all. The night before was a night I could barely remember. I threw up.. ALOT. I think I remember passing out and possibly someone carrying me home. It was probably my cousin's older brother. We always had a big crew around us, half girls, all our friends that we get drunk and crazy with, and half guys, family and friends of family, that would come with us everywhere we go. They were protective, and always watching to make sure no one took advantage of us, but also sneaking in drinks to us because some of us were underage.
The music was just getting started. I could feel the bump, bump, bump of the beats dropping and vibrating against my body as I walked in. Two very handsome guys approach us with two drinks in hand. One of them I already was fond of, Kevin, a friend I hung out with from time to time, and the other guy I've seen around, but did not know well, a friend of Kevin's, his name was Binh. He had a nice smile on his face, his perfect white teeth and those charming eyes made me smile too as they both approached us.
"Hey, you guys want a drink?" Kevin says smiling sheepishly.
"Yeah, let's go!" My cousin yells out, and we all start walking in towards a bar.
I want to groan, NO! Not again, I'm not ready to drink this early in after last night's night, not another I don't remember nights and spend my time near a toilet night. I turn and look at Binh, and I give him a curious look, one of those What are you up to looks?
"Uh.. don't you have a girlfriend, where's your girlfriend?" I asked accusingly.
"I don't have one, well I did, but we broke up, 8 months ago."
I pause and now I'm really curious about this guy. "Oh really.." I say this slowly by the way, reeaaally.
All of a sudden, last nights image takes a back drop and I forget all about it. "Okay, I'm ready for that drink now!" And just like that, all 4 of us go to the bar and order our drinks.
